Causa, Voices of the Dusk is an intriguing collectible card game for PC in which your decisions will change the course of the game. Sacrifice cards to raise your Cause, and bring them back later to achieve the most strategic plays. Prove your abilities battling other players, and draft your way to Victory in extremely challenging campaigns. The game presents an unprecedented resource system: sacrifice cards from your hand or your board to raise your Cause, and bring back these cards back later in the game to take the most out of your strategy.

Causa is the result of a research-creation project, developed to invite players to think about power in society in a more complex way through interactive fiction. We resisted the usual range of representations of the fantasy genre: instead of just portraying white characters who hold roles as oligarchs, military figures, and wizards as if no other types of people existed in that imagined world, we created protagonists with the role of workers, intellectuals, artists, among others, who also play a fundamental role in any society, real or imagined. We also developed racially diverse peoples that questioned the hegemony of colonizers, who hid their problems by declaring war on others.
