Chronicles of the Uprising, edited by Fractal Juegos, is a ludoactivist open-source collective project about the social upsrising in Chile in 2019. This creative exercise of collective memory, where I had the opportunity to contribute as a researcher documenting events and illustrator, diverges from traditional commercial logics, as it is freely available for download and print. 

On October 18th, 2019, the largest social upheaval in recent Chilean history began. What initially started as a student-led protest against a 30-peso rise in metro fares soon became a historic movement that will undoubtedly shape our future generations. "Crónicas del Estallido" is a cooperative game inspired by the popular game Timeline, but situated within this socio-political process. The game was developed through the collaborative efforts of many contributors, who assisted in illustrating cards or identifying key events. The goal of the game is to create spaces for gathering and entertainment while, most importantly, promoting reflection on the events unfolding in Chile. Memory is fragile, and it is the collective responsibility to ensure it is not lost. As the street chant goes, "it's not 30 pesos, it's 30 years" [of abuse] .
