[Game Direction, Narrative & Game Design]
Monsters at School is a board game aimed at promoting healthy coexistence within the school community and addressing risky situations that may arise in school settings. The project has received support from JUNAEB (National Board of School Aid and Scholarships) in Valparaíso, Chile, specifically through the "Habilidades para la Vida" (Skills for Life) program. The game was designed to be used by program monitors and students alike. The game encourages honest conversations and critical thinking without normalizing specific roles within the school community. It can be played using simple mechanics or as a facilitation tool, allowing the team to shape the narrative of the game based on their own school experiences.
